police received the call about a man lying in the middle of the road at 1:30 this morning. police say the victim of this hit and run is intoxicated and they are unsure if he was attempting to cross the street or if he was just wandering in the middle of the street when he got hit. what they do know is that the car drove away - that car is described as a police believe the car continued east on capital after hitting the man the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. milwaukee police say they continue to search for the driver of the vehicle. if you have any information - you're encouraged to contact milwaukee police. reporting live on milwaukee's north side - julie collins. fox 6 news. new details about the car-- suspected of slamming into a mount pleasant squad car. police say they are looking for a dark sedan, which should have

the police officer was responding to a call wednesday night when his squad was hit by another car. he had to jump into his vehicle to avoid being hit by that car. the officer escaped without injury but investigators say the driver never stopped. were looking at this case, and go, was somebody, intentionally, trying to run down an officer? we dont know that. if you have any information call mount pleasant police. the milwaukee county medical examiners office is dealing with 71 possible drug over-doses -- in one of those cases - is the medical examiner's own son. on monday, police were called to a report of an unconscious 29 year old man on clybourn street. paramedics used the drug narcan... but despite that, and other life saving measures, the man was pronounced dead from a probable overdose.. that man turned out to be the son of the milwaukee county medical examiner. local health experts say the death highlights just how widespread the problem of opiate addiction is in our

opinion, without giving people a full perspective milwaukee county district attorney john chisholm, who is one of the prosecutors, says leaking john doe material is a crime. governor walker did not say if the state attorney general should investigate the leak. looking ahead... milwaukee's water quality task force will meet for the first time today. the group is charged with investigating and making recommendations to ensure long-term health and safety of the city's drinking water. last we residents who live in older homes to consider getting a water filter to protect themselves from lead. the initial task force meeting will be held at city hall at 9 this morning. it is largely intended for organizational purposes and will include reports from city officials about water filtration systems and results of municipal testing for lead in drinking water. a new report shows edward snowden is not a whistle blower. why house officials say his leaked information had nothing

elementary in waukesha yesterday to fill bags with food for kids. every friday, bags of food are put in the backpacks for children who are eligible for the program to take home. they receive free or reduced meals during the school week-- the food will help the children return to school on mondays well fed, which is essential for focusing in class. domino artist says she spent 25 hours over 8 days building this massive triple spiral structure with 15- thousand dominoes. first the inside colorful dominoes fall, then the outside white dominoes follow, creating a triple spiral. she says creating domino designs isn't just a hobby-- it's her full-time job. the teen posts videos of her projects on youtube -- and has almost a million followers. there's another video where you can watch the dominoes stand back up in reverse. all anchors chat/toss to 6am
